July 6, 2007 Colorado Springs to Pueblo, CO
The ride to Pueblo was short (about 47 miles) and flat. We had a hotel which marked the fourth day in a row we all got beds to sleep on. We ate lunch at the Gold Dust Saloon... cheeseburgers. We had a long time between lunch and dinner with nothing to do so I watched TV and napped. For dinner, we walked 7 blocks down the street to Friday Festivals and were given 10 free tokens ($1 each) to eat with. I had tacos, pizza, and bread sticks. The real fun though started after everyone had finished dinner. A few of us hung out at the festival and listened and danced to the live funk music of Phat Daddy and the Phat Horn Doctors. They were actually really good and the few of us that stayed there had a great time. I also won a free shirt from a Pueblo radio station!
